Emirates has launched a new codeshare deal with LATAM Airlines Brazil, allowing customers to connect to and from 17 domestic Brazilian destinations via its routes to Rio and Sao Paulo.

The new codeshare destinations to and from Sao Paulo are Belem, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Goiânia, Foz do Iguaçu Falls, Londrina, Manaus,  Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador, São Luiz and Vitória.

Meanwhile the new codeshare routes to and from Rio de Janeiro are Belém, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Goiânia, Iguassu Falls, Manaus, Natal and Vitoria.

The Gulf carrier currently operates daily A380 flights between Dubai and Sao Paulo, as well as daily services to Rio de Janeiro. From June 1 the Dubai-Rio route will be served with the carrier’s recently refurbished B777-200LR aircraft.

As previously reported, from the same date this service will continue onto Buenos Aires four times weekly, and to Santiago de Chile on three days per week.
