Eurostar is advising all customers departing Paris “not to travel unless absolutely necessary”, as delays and cancellations continue as a result of strikes by French customs.

The high-speed rail operator is reporting delays of up to four hours due to the industrial action, and is recommending that travellers do not travel from Paris on its services up until March 24.

Eurostar has been forced to cancel the following services over the next few days:

Wednesday March 20:

  • 9007 (0704 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9013 (0837 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9063 (2103 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)

Thursday March 21:

  • 9007 (0704 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9063 (2103 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)

Friday March 22:

  • 9009 (0737 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9015 (0903 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)
  • 9037 (1437 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9063 (2103 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)

Saturday March 23:

  • 9059 (2007 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)

Sunday March 24:

  • 9061 (2034 from Paris Nord to London St Pancras)
  • 9063 (2103 from Paris Nord to Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras)

Affected customers can change their tickets free of charge, or get a full refund.

The industrial action comes on top of an already reduced Eurostar timetable, with the operator having to cancel a number of services due to “operational reasons” over the next couple of weeks. Full details of these can be found here.
