Lounge and airport experience provider Priority Pass has introduced more than 800 new offers for members.

Discounts are available on food, drink, shopping and spa services in 146 airports. New upgrade options and gifts have also been added.

Partners include Duty Free Americas, InMotion Entertainment and XpresSpa.

Members must generate an offer code through the Priority Pass website or app and present it to the retailer.

Different offers will be available depending on the member’s location.

Priority Pass said its research found that 41 per cent of travellers would arrive at the airport earlier if they received discounts on food and drink, while 39 per cent would arrive earlier for discounts on shopping.

The programme has three membership levels, starting at £69 (US$86) a year, and provides access to 1,200 lounges.

Christopher Evans, Joint CEO of Priority Pass operator Collinson, said: “This is the latest of many digital features we’re introducing to meet the evolving needs of our Members.

“The discounts and incentives that offers provide is another way we’re helping them get the most out of their pre-flight experience, while also driving footfall for our airport partners.

“We’re committed to supporting the broader airport ecosystem and becoming the go-to travel companion for travellers around the world and best trusted partner for airport services providers.”
