Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) has extended its checkin facility to six hotels in Mumbai- Sahara Star, Hyatt Regency, Taj Santacruz, ITC Maratha, Hilton Mumbai International Airport and The LaLiT. This service will be extended to few more hotels soon.
Under the new facility, passengers will be able to checkin at the common use self service (CUSS) kiosks set up in the hotels, print their boarding pass and also generate baggage tags. Post this, passengers can drop their baggage at the self-bag drop (SBD) and get the security check done at the airport.
This latest initiative by Mumbai airport aims to enhance passenger experience along with saving their valuable time.
Furthermore, Terminal 1 of CSIA is the only terminal in the country to have a fully automated checkin system.
