Kempegowda International airport, Bengaluru has introduced a separate terminal for the access of the airline staff. This crew-only terminal is set up close to the airline offices and will be functional round the clock.

The new terminal seeks to decongest the main terminal and also provide easy access to the staff. With this new addition, the crew members will be able to complete their security checks quickly.

Javed Malik, chief operating officer, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) said, “BIAL has been a pioneer in airport innovation and the introduction of the crew terminal is a testimony to that spirit of innovation. We are always looking for ways to improve the stakeholder experience at our airport.”

Currently, Kempegowda International airport is the third busiest airport in India with over 90,000 passengers and over 600 flight operations every day. bengaluruairport.com
