Airbus has published an image of the first of ANA’s forthcoming A380 aircraft rolling out of the assembly hall, ahead of expected delivery next spring.
ANA will be the first Japanese carrier to operate the superjumbo, and has a total of three of the aircraft on order.
Last month the airline published details of the four-class seating configuration of its A380 aircraft, with eight seats first class seats, 56 in business class, and 73 in premium economy on the upper deck, and 383 economy seats on the lower deck.
The economy cabin will offer 60 “ANA Couchii” seats – seven rows at the back of the aircraft with leg rests which can be fully lifted up to provide a wider flat surface for passengers lying across the seats.
ANA has also revealed updated images of the sea turtle livery which will feature on its superjumbos, with different colour schemes for each of the three aircraft.
