Jet Airways will increase capacity on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata routes, October 30 onwards.

It will operate A330 airplanes on the mentioned routes, in order to nearly double the capacity. The airline currently flies B737 which accommodates 160 passengers.

“Beginning October 30, Jet Airways will expand its wide-body (Airbus A330s) wings with 9W 346/362 on the Mumbai-Delhi and with 9W 907/946 on the Delhi-Kolkata routes, which will significantly boost our capacity on these key sectors,” says the airline in a media-statement.

Deploying the airbus aircraft will also provide passengers with added comfort. Flat-beds in Premiere class and more leg-room in Economy class will be introduced.
