Hyatt has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid, thereby marking the Hyatt Regency brand’s debut in Spain.

Located in Paseo de la Castellana, one of Madrid’s popular spots, the hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport and is close to corporate offices, banks, and embassies in addition to luxury retail shops and historic sites.

Expressing views on this new opening, Monica Friera, general manager of Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid said, “With Madrid being one of Spain’s most significant commercial centres, we are confident the Hyatt Regency brand is the perfect fit to cater to business travellers, providing personalised care to help enable meaningful connections.”

The 169-key Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid includes 33 plush suites overlooking the stunning Paseo de la Castellana. Top floor suites feature garden terraces and private hot tubs.

In terms of F&B, the hotel boasts the Michelin-starred restaurant, Santceloni, a member of the Relais & Châteaux and Les Grandes Tables du Monde restaurant associations. There is also La Manzana, known for its innovative and creative seasonal market cuisine.

MICE travellers can host events at the hotel’s lavish venues spread across 1,140 sqm. Utilise the 419 sqm ballroom, ideal for large and small gatherings. Fitness enthusiasts can head to the hotel’s rooftop gym for a quick workout session.

This is the fourth Hyatt hotel to open in Spain, alongside Hyatt Centric Gran Vía Madrid, Hotel Sofia Barcelona and Park Hyatt Mallorca.
