United Continental Holdings has unveiled the first Boeing 747 aircraft painted in the new United livery, with more than 20 per cent of the merged United / Continental fleet now sporting the new design.

The group has now repainted 309 mainline and regional aircraft, and says that “ongoing visual rebranding of the company will accelerate in the months ahead”, with customers beginning to see rebranded airport facilities and new advertising.
