Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid, Spain
Hyatt announces its first hotel on mainland Spain with this latest iteration of its Centric brand. The 159-room property is located in the central Gran Via area with close access to multiple forms of public transport. Each room comes with a 55-inch flat screen TV and free wifi. There are three dining options: Hielo y Carbon serves local delicacies from its hot charcoal kitchen; Ondas: Vermuteria + Lounge is the spot for tapas and cocktails or tea and coffee; while Via Fantastica is the hotel’s relaxed rooftop bar providing views of Madrid. There is also a 24-hour fitness centre and almost 200 sqm of event space; Hielo y Carbon can also function as an events venue.
Radisson Dakar Diamniadio, Senegal
This is the second hotel from parent company Carlson Rezidor to open in the Senegalese capital, Dakar. It has 152 rooms ranging from standard to Presidential Suites, and a restaurant offering a mix of local and international cuisine, as well as a lobby bar. But the real eye-catching amenity is the events space, of which there is nearly 15,000 sqm. This is due to the hotel’s location in the Diamniadio district, which the Senegalese government intends to turn into a business hub.
Residence Inn Santa Barbara Goleta, California, USA
This new hotel from Marriott has 118 suites with in-room kitchens and complimentary wifi, as well as an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. Located near Santa Barbara airport, the hotel offers a free shuttle service. It also provides easy access to nearby popular attractions such as Stearns Wharf and the University of California Santa Barbara. The suites vary in size from single bed to capacious suites with balconies and multiple rooms.
Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE
This new Radisson Blu in the heart of the city’s tech business hub has 229 modern studios and apartments including full kitchen facilities. On site is also The Larder restaurant serving modern European food, and The Lounge cocktail bar which serves light meals and snacks and can also be a more relaxed space for coffee or casual meetings. There are outdoor pools and gym facilities with steam rooms, plus a 24-hour concierge service.

Ibis Styles London Gloucester Road, UK
Accor’s design brand, Ibis Styles, will open another venue in Kensington near the Natural History Museum and Science Museum in January. The new hotel features 85 rooms with options of double rooms or solo rooms. There is also one 100 sqm meeting room, which can hold meetings of up to eight people and has wifi access. The Lobby bar services snacks and drinks throughout the day.
The Dixon, London, UK
The Dixon, a new boutique-style hotel by Marriot’s Autograph Collection at London’s Tower Bridge, is set to open in early 2018. The hotel is a renovated former magistrates’ court, and celebrates the area’s artistic and modern heritage with artworks from local artists on the walls. All 193 rooms, including nine spacious suites, will feature smart TVs and complimentary ultra-fast wifi. The Courtroom café in the hotel is the former courtroom of the building.
Lutetia, Paris, France
The iconic Paris hotel, Lutetia will re-open this spring as a member of The Set hotels after a full renovation. The hotel will retain its art deco design, yet all the facilities and amenities will meet the standard of today’s palace hotels. There are 184 rooms available, including 47 suites. The two penthouse suites contain 70sqm private terraces with 360-degree views of Paris. A mix of restaurants, bars and lounges, including the Lutetia Brasserie and Salon Cristal ballroom, add allure.
Nobu Hotel Marbella, Spain
Set directly on the Marbella’s Golden Mile, this lively location faces toward the Mediterranean from Spain’s Costa de Sol. Nobu Hotel Marbella will open to guests from March this year. The new hotel contains 81 guest suites, which all contain private indoor and outdoor space to relax or to enjoy a cocktail and signature Nobu dishes. A private Nobu beach, a swimming pool with bar, and sunset DJ sessions are open to all guests all well.
