Emirates has launched a special Oktoberfest menu for travellers in all classes flying between its destinations in Germany and Hong Kong via Dubai.

Available during the length of Oktoberfest until October 3, the menu will be separated into first and business class, and economy. Dishes such as roast chicken and Spatzle (soft egg noodles) with a mushroom sauce will be offered to travellers in economy, while first and business class passengers will get a three-tier stand comprising rock-salt pretzels with obazda (cheese) and sweet mustard dips, a selection of sandwiches and pretzel rolls with cold-cut turkey.

Paulaner beer will also be served on flights – Paulaner is one of the six breweries that serve beverages at the Oktoberfest celebrations – while the lounges will also offer pastries, including zwetschgenkuchen (pie), baumkuchen (spit cake) and guglhupf (marble cake).

Emirates currently flies four times a day between Hong Kong and Emirates, with three of these operated by its A380 superjumbos. These flights can connect with the three daily flights each to Munich and Frankfurt, or two daily flights each to Dusseldorf and Hamburg.
