Singapore and the US have launched a bilateral initiative to give eligible citizens access to an expedited immigration process at airports of both countries.
The United States of America–Singapore Trusted Traveller Programme (TTP), which launched yesterday, means Singaporeans can now apply for the US’s "Global Entry Programme".
Reciprocally, US passport holders that are already part of Global Entry can also apply online to use Singapore’s enhanced-immigration Automated Clearance System (eIACS).
Both Global Entry and eIACS are only open to applicants that meet certain eligibility criteria. (See here for full list of eligibility criteria for Global Entry and eIACS).
Singaporeans that meet the initial eligibility criteria are required to schedule an in-person interview at a Global Entry Enrolment Centre, while US passport holders are also required to visit an eIACS enrolment centre to complete all formalities.
