Intercontinental Hotels is set to rebrand the Four Seasons Dublin in January 2015.
Four Seasons Hotels announced its decision to cease management of the property in October of this year, and recent reports had both Hyatt Hotels and Intercontinental Hotels in the running to take over the management.
Located in the Irish capital's upmarket Ballsbridge neighbourhood, the hotel has 197 rooms and suites, two restaurants, two bars, a gym, a spa and an indoor pool. It also features 1,400 sqm of meeting space.
IHG will also be opening the Intercontinental Baku, in Azerbaijan, in 2016. It will have 105 rooms and suites.
Robert Shepherd, chief development officer for IHG Europe, said: "We are thrilled to have signed two flagship Intercontinental hotels in two important markets; and both properties are going to be fantastic additions to our portfolio."
IHG has almost 180 Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts properties around the world, with approximately another 50 in the pipeline.
