Virgin Hotels has unveiled designs for its forthcoming New York property.
Slated to open in 2017, the new hotel will be on the southeast corner of 30th St and Broadway in the “NoMad” neighbourhood.
The architects – VOA Architecture – will also oversee the interior design of the hotel along with the Virgin Hotels design team.
The property will include shops, 475 hotel rooms and a rooftop bar plus an outdoor pool and spa.
Virgin Hotels has seen several prolonged delays to its openings in the US, with the Chicago property, first announced in 2011 (see news, October 2011) and scheduled to open in 2013, now taking bookings for mid-January onwards.
