Intercontinental Hotels Group has launched an online IHG Rewards catalogue offering “thousands of retail redemption choices tailored to over 200 countries and 20 languages”.
The new IHG Rewards Club Global Redemption Catalogue allows 82 million members to add items to a personal wish list and use their points to send gifts to friends and family in other countries.
The catalogue contains items that have a range of point values, while IHG said the selection will constantly update.

Susanna Freer Epstein, IHG’s senior vice president of customer loyalty marketing, said: “At IHG Rewards Club, we are constantly looking to enhance and evolve the programme in ways that truly recognise and reward our members’ loyalty – not just by giving them points but by giving them the opportunity for rewarding experiences.
“Our new redemption catalogue makes it even easier for our members to access rewards for whatever they like – from jewellery to electronics, to the trip of a lifetime.”
In July, IHG Rewards changed its points awards system so that members accrue ten points for every dollar spent when booking and also on items charged to the room (see news, June 11).
