Air New Zealand will add three weekly services onto its Auckland to Los Angeles route next summer.
The flag carrier currently flies to LAX twice daily on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
From April until October 2015, it will operate a third daily flight on those three days.
The additional service will depart Auckland earlier than the two current flights, arriving in Los Angeles at "around 0900" local time. The return flight will depart LAX later than current services and will land in Auckland at 0700.
Cam Wallace, ANZ's chief sales and commercial officer, said: "The extra flights are a good example of Air New Zealand listening and responding to customer feedback.
"Frequent LA travellers told us they wanted to be able to arrive earlier, particularly when connecting to the US east coast. We're thrilled to now be able to offer this to our customers."
The airline is also increasing capacity on its Auckland to Vancouver route.
Between mid-July and late August this summer, ANZ operated a five-times weekly service between the two cities. Next year, this period will be extended from June to September.
The carrier operates the route three times weekly outside of this period.
ANZ last month debut its B787-9 Dreamliner on its Auckland to Sydney route (see news, August 1).
