Hyatt make it easier to earn Gold Passport points

Members of the Hyatt Gold Passport loyalty programme can now earn and redeem points when using facilities in the group’s Hong Kong hotels. 

Members will earn five points for every HK$7.75 (US$1) spent in the spas, restaurants and bars of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, along with the Hyatt Regency hotels in Shatin and Tsim Sha Tsui. 

The points are redeemable for free room nights or upgrades at the hotels or discounts at their restaurants and spas. Members can also convert their points to miles with Hyatt’s travel partner airlines.

In addition, until the end of this month, Hyatt is running a fall promotion for Hyatt Gold Passport members where for the first five eligible nights that members stay with Hyatt worldwide, they will earn 5,000 bonus points. After that, members will earn 10,000 points for every five eligible nights, up to a maximum 65,000 bonus points (see here).
