Z Hotels will open its second London property next week, a 106-room hotel located on Lower Belgrave Street close to Victoria station.
Z Victoria follows the opening of Z Soho last year (see online news October 3, 2011), with a third property also under development in Liverpool.
Rooms feature 40-inch Samsung LED HGTVs offering free Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels, as well as free wifi and docking stations for mobile and laptop devices.
The hotel will also offer a self-service check-in terminal in the lobby, and Z café for coffees, smoothies, alcoholic derinks, fresh breads and light snacks including the Z Mezze charcuterie platter or cheese board. Z Hotels says rooms will start from £65.
Z Victoria is the latest in a raft of hotels to open within walking distance of Victoria station, including Eccleston Square Hotel to the south of the station (for a review click here), The Belgraves on Chesham Place in Belgravia (for a review click here), and the reflagged Doubletree by Hilton London Victoria on Bridge Place, opposite one of the side entrances to London Victoria train station (see online news March 5).
IHG is also set to open its second Intercontinental hotel in the capital in November, located north of Victoria on Broadway, next to St James’s Park tube station (see online news June 8).
