Peach Aviation, touted as Japan’s first low-cost carrier, is planning to eventually expand and serve international routes (see story here), however it will not be alone for long. Parent company ANA is also in the process of launching another LCC in partnership with AirAsia (see story here) and Japan Airlines (JAL), faced with fierce competition, will also venture into the LCC market with Jetstar Japan (see story here).
