The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel has expanded its two-month-old Check 'N Fly service, and now allows non-resident guests to check in for their flights.
Operated jointly with Menzies Macau Airport Services – the aviation ground service provider at Macau International Airport – the convenience was previously restricted to in-house customers. The service was launched on September 29, 2010
Due to popularity with travellers, the counter had to be moved to the main lobby and has been made twice the size of the old one in the hotel's South Wing. An extra station has also been added to handle increased traffic during peak times.
Airlines served include Air Macau, EVA Airways, Transasia Airways, Xiamen Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, China Eastern and Shenzhen Airlines. Operating hours are daily between 9am and 6pm.
Customers are adviced to show up three hours before departure, and they can choose their seat and collect their boarding pass. Direct baggage transfer from the hotel to the airport is included in the arrangements.
A promotional rate of MOP20 (US$2.46) per passenger, 50 percent off the standard fee, is still running.
