20 Aug 2008 by Mark Caswell

Ramada Jarvis will open its first hotel at London Heathrow airport this October.

The Ramada London Heathrow is situated around two miles east of the airport along the Bath Road, and features 200 air-conditioned rooms, all with work desks, wifi internet access, flatscreen TVs with on-demand movies, complimentary mineral water and 24-hour room service. Executive rooms benefit from free internet and unlimited movies.

Other facilities include five meeting rooms, (the largest accommodating 120 delegates theatre-style), Arts Brasserie offering seasonal dishes, wifi internet access throughout the hotel’s public areas, and on-site parking for 75 cars.

The hotel opens on October 1, and follows the launch of the Sofitel London Heathrow at T5 this month (see online news August 14 for a full review of the property).
