    Hi BABenji

Vineware menu sounds good, but why do people always spell things wrong on their menus? Risollee has two e’s, not one. Sorry to sound a bit like VK, but the little bits do matter……….

The best burger i have had to date has to be from Buds Broiler in New Orleans

In Canada i say Harvey’s are good.

The one place i really want to try is the Heart Attack Grill… this place is for real.

Thanks Guys, quite a choice there.

I’m in NY next month so I’ll put the Burger Shack on my list of restaurants to visit.

It looks like I’ll have pay a visit to the Kirkwell Hotel. As a recent convert to Haggis, thanks to Boisdale in Victoria, it seems a must try place!,

One of Heston Blumenthal’s TV programs was ‘In Search of Perfection’ and for the burger episode he went to New York. The best burger he could find was in a strip club, but I forget the name.

Any favourites in the Middle East? Every chain under the sun is here, GBK is growing, although my vote goes to Johnny Rockets (johnnyrockets.com). Globally, it has to be the US of course – think the best burger I ever had was in an average Joe diner in central Chicago.

For chain resto, I vote for the Fat Burger. The burgers are cooked and made to order. The taste beats most sit-down resto.
If you are ever in Bali, try the burgers from Warisan or Metis restaurant in Seminyak.

Haven’t been back for a couple of years but my best is Ruby Tuesdays in Atlanta, many others have come close but just don’t seem to get it.

Best burgers, best staff, best managers, best atmosphere, best prices is BEEFCAKES in Cape Town. Main road, Greenpoint just up from the Waterfront. Usually have to book on Fri/Sat.

As a foreigner I think White Spot in Canada do great burgers every time. However us Brits just don’t do burgers like they do the other side of the Atlantic.
