JetBlue has introduced new complimentary snacks, menu changes and entertainment options for those travelling with the airline this summer.

When it comes to entertainment options, JetBlue has recently introduced its personalised inflight platform, Blueprint by JetBlue. The system is available on select flights with touchscreen TVs, with JetBlue adding that it is offered on most revamped A320s.

Through the new IFE system, customers can create watch parties with up to six passengers, allowing them to watch the same film or TV show in sync. Play and pause functions can be controlled on all linked screens, regardless of where each customer is seated.

Passengers can also save their favourite titles, so they can pick up on where they left off on a future flight.

The airline has also introduced a new A24 Collection of award-winning and nominated films from the namesake studio, with the likes of Everything Everywhere All At Once and The Farewell on offer.

From June, JetBlue will also launch a dedicated channel for the Hot Ones TV show, where famous guests such as Jennifer Lawrence, Gordon Ramsay and Pedro Pascal are interviewed while dining on spicy wings.

The airline is also introducing a new Great Scots collection to celebrate its upcoming seasonal service to Edinburgh, set to launch this month.

On the F&B side, New York-based restaurant Legacy Records has refreshed the summer menus in Mint (business class). Transatlantic customers will have the choice of strawberries drizzles in black pepper syrup and basil, quinoa pancakes with blueberry compote, or a ricotta crêpe with hazelnut and caramel.

Lunch and dinner options, meanwhile, include a sausage pasty with pomodoro sauce and parmesan, chilled pea soup with mint oil and puffed wild rice, or chicken Milanese with mustard greens and lemon.

Domestic customers, meanwhile, can opt for asparagus frittata with goat’s cheese, herbs and parmigiana or the French toast with roasted strawberries and whipped mascarpone for breakfast, while dinner options include flat iron steak with roasted fennel and Tuscan breadcrumbs, burrata with roasted rhubarb, rocket and crostini, or shrimp with smoked paprika aioli and garlic breadcrumbs.

Those travelling in economy will also experience new summer-inspired dishes from DIG. Breakfast offerings include pancakes with maple syrup and roasted peaches, frittata with roasted courgette and tomatoes, or chocolate chia pudding with toasted coconut and raspberries.

Lunch and dinner options include a chicken and lemon herb spring farro or harissa aioli cauliflower and herb lentils, alongside sides of sugar snap peas with mint pesto and feta or citrus fennel salad with sunflower seeds.

The carrier has also introduced new complimentary snacks, including the gluten-free and vegan Partake’s Classic Grahams crackers this month, followed by Safe+Fair’s Everything Bagel Pretzels, dusted in an onion and garlic spice blend, in June.

To accompany the meals, the airline is serving ALB Vodka, a New York-based brand, in its Mint (business class) and Core (economy class) cabins. Alongside this are new mixer options from Owen’s Craft Mixers, which are complimentary in business class but available for purchase in economy.

JetBlue recently introduced an array of new amenities for passengers flying in its Mint (business class) cabins.
