Royal Air Maroc is resuming direct flights from Manchester to Casablanca this June, after having previously operated the service pre-pandemic.

The oneworld carrier is returning with a three-times-weekly service operated by a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flights will launch on June 23 and take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with a duration of approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.

The Moroccan flag carrier already operates services from Manchester to Marrakech, as well as 16 flights per week between Casablanca and London – we recently reviewed the London Heathrow-Casablanca service.

Zoubida Smahi, general manager at Royal Air Maroc, commented:

“As part of its expansion plan, Royal Air Maroc is delighted to participate in strengthening the connections between Morocco and the UK through the re-launch of the direct flights from Manchester to Casablanca. This new service facilitates seamless travel from the North to Morocco and beyond.

“Casablanca has reaffirmed its role as a commercial hub and a strategic gateway to sub-Saharan Africa. As the leading company in West Africa, the Moroccan national carrier aims at placing the African continent at the forefront of global connectivity with a focus on facilitating business travel, family visits and tourism.”
