Sydney airport (SYD) has opened Betty’s Burgers at the T1 International terminal casual dining precinct.

This is the first-time passengers will be able to have the iconic burger brand in an airport setting, with Betty’s Burgers showcasing an extensive menu of their classic burgers, sides and drinks at SYD.

Betty’s Burgers is joined by Oporto – “the home of the Bondi Burger”, as well as Mad Mex – “the best in the burrito-making business”, Sydney airport says.

The dining outlets will be located before departures.

“As one of Australia’s most iconic burger brands, we could not be more thrilled to expand our food offering at the International terminal by welcoming Betty’s Burgers, delivering an Australian airport first for customers to enjoy,” comments airport executive general manager commercial, Mark Zaouk.

He adds: “The trio of Betty’s Burgers, Mad Mex and Oporto is a fantastic offering and reinforces the airport’s focus on securing new and exciting food concepts that we know customers will love, elevating the casual dining experience across the airport.”

Betty’s Burgers menu includes a range of Classic and Deluxe burgers with Betty’s special sauce, as well as a spicy fried chicken burger option, and Betty’s Classic Vegan Burger and Shroom Burger.

Sydney airport’s T1 International casual dining precinct is located in departures before security and also features F&B venues including Subway, Mrs Fields Bakery, Hero Sushi, Taste of Thai, Hungry Jack’s and Toby’s Estate.
