Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, has announced the opening of Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong, marking the brand’s debut in Thailand.
Situated in Ratchaprasong, the dynamic commercial and retail district in downtown Bangkok, the 504-room hotel – the largest Moxy in the Asia-Pacific region – is surrounded by upscale shopping malls, stylish restaurants, and lively bars.
The hotel is near the BTS skytrain Chit Lom station.
“The opening of Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong brings Moxy’s fun style of hospitality to Bangkok, one of the world’s most fun-filled cities,” said Matthew Boettcher, vice president of distinctive select brand portfolio, Marriott International. “The draw of the Moxy brand is its ability to create a playful experience that’s inspired by the surrounding city, and Bangkok is a perfect fit for our brand entry into the country.”
The check-in area for Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is on the ninth floor.
Designed to maximize space, the 504 guestrooms feature modular furniture and smart features like peg walls, motion-activated LED lights, keyless entry, 55-inch flat-screen TVs and wifi.
Moxy Grab + Go offers 24/7 snacks and drinks, while the open-plan Moxy Bar & Restaurant is open for breakfast, light lunches, and evening meals overlooking the Bangkok skyline, including an outdoor area. A rooftop bar will open soon, the hotel says.
Moxy now has more than 125 properties open across 25 countries.
