Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has announced additional destinations for its flights this summer.

From June to September, it will add new routes to Geneva in Switzerland and Rhodes in Greece.

It will also resume flights to Malaga in Spain and Mykonos in Greece.

The four destinations will be operated through two weekly flights to Geneva using an A321neo and two weekly flights to Rhodes and Mykonos serviced by an Airbus A320neo. The Malaga route will be operated thrice a week using is Boeing B787-9 aircraft.

The Geneva flights will be in operation from 4 June through to 27 September.

Gulf Air’s services to Malaga will be undertaken from 17 June to 28 September.

Meanwhile, its flights to Mykonos linked with Rhodes, will be operated from 1 June to 28 September.

Additionally, Gulf Air said that it would also increase flights to Manchester operated by Boeing B787-9, while Rome, Milan, and Muscat operated by its fleet of Airbus A321neo.

The flights to Manchester, UK, will increase from four to five times a week, from 5 July.

The flights to Rome via Milan will increase from three to six flights, and Milan from daily to 10 weekly flights, commencing 2 July.

The services to Muscat will increase from nine to sixteen weekly flights beginning 15 April.

Gulf Air to launch flights to Manchester, Milan, Nice and Rome

At the start of this month, Gulf Air also announced the resumption of its flights to four destinations during the upcoming summer season, spanning from June to September.

The four destinations are Nice in France, Sharm El Shaikh and Alexandria in Egypt and Bodrum in Türkiye. Each destination will be operated with two weekly flights using the airline’s Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. Flights to Nice will operate every Sunday and Thursdays starting from 2 until 29 September. Those to Sharm El Sheikh and Alexandria will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1 June to 14 September. Services to Bodrum will be operated twice a week on Thursday and Saturdays from 15 June until 14 September.
