Gatwick airport has published details of several new food and beverage outlets set to open in the coming months.

London-based Black Sheep Coffee will open South Terminal landside and North Terminal airside stores before Christmas.

The group currently operates 70-odd venues across the UK, France and the Philippines, with forthcoming locations in Dallas in the US.

Krispy Kreme is also set to open its first Gatwick store before the end of the year, located airside in the North Terminal.

And Scottish brewery and pub chain BrewDog is set to unveil its second airport venue in Gatwick’s North Terminal, joining its existing site at Edinburgh airport which opened in 2018.

Finally the landside Giraffe World Kitchen at Gatwick’s South Terminal is being expanded to add nearly 60 extra covers across 119 sqm of additional space, with a new bar area and new-look menu.

Earlier this year the airport’s South Terminal welcomed Vagabond Bar & Kitchen – offering customers more than 80 wines via the brand’s signature self-serve dispensing machines – and the adjacent South Downs Sparkling Wine Bar which celebrates English sparkling wine.

Commenting on the news Rachel Bulford, retail director, London Gatwick, said:

“We’ve already welcomed several new, big-name brands to London Gatwick this year and the addition of Black Sheep Coffee and Krispy Kreme is fantastic news, as we strive to offer all our passengers an exciting, diverse range of options before they fly.

“Black Sheep Coffee is a well-known brand, particularly across London and the South East, while Krispy Kreme is a globally recognised name – both will add an exciting element to our food and beverage offer. The expansion and revamp of Giraffe World Kitchen is also great news for passengers, who will be able to enjoy the new-look menu from December.”

Gatwick’s North Terminal is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound redevelopment, including a modernised departure lounge, improved wayfinding and several new retailers and restaurants.
