Kenya Airways has announced plans to increase the frequency of its Nairobi-London service from 29 October.

The flag carrier currently operates ten flights per week between Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport and Heathrow, but will increase this to double daily.

The news was originally flagged on our forum, and Kenya Airways has now posted a press release stating that it will offer a morning and evening flight from Nairobi.

When Business Traveller checked online reservations for early November, flight times were shown as departing Heathrow 0830 and 1725, arriving into Nairobi at 2020 and 0550 (the following day) respectively.

The London-bound leg departs Nairobi at 0135 and 0935, arriving into Heathrow at 0730 and 1530 respectively. Flight times do vary slightly according to the day, so please check at kenya-airways.com.

The roughly nine-hour flight is operated by Kenya Airways’ Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, which are configured with 204 economy and 30 Business Premier World seats.

British Airways also flies daily between Heathrow and Nairobi.
