At the recently concluded Future Hospitality Summit 2023 held in Abu Dhabi, Radisson Hotel Group said that it aims to reach 100 operational hotels in the Middle East by 2026.

By 2030, it said that it plans to have a portfolio of 150 operational and under development properties across the Middle East. The group’s current portfolio includes 77 properties in the Middle East comprising over 11,619 keys.

In Saudi Arabia, the group’s upcoming opening includes Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher East, in Makkah. It is also planning another property in Makkah with the anticipated debut of Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thaker West.

In Jeddah, Radisson is working on the opening of the Vivid Jeddah Hotel under its Radisson Individuals brand which is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2023. Additionally, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel and Apartments, Riyadh Olaya North in the kingdom’s capital is set to open this December.

In 2023, it has already signed a number of other properties for Saudi Arabia. These include Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia Street slated to open in 2024 and Radisson Blu Hotel, Hail scheduled to welcome its first guests in 2025.

Over in the neighbouring country of Oman, Radisson will soon reveal new properties planned for the sultanate including Muscat Levatio Suites under its Radisson Individuals brand and also Radisson Hotel Muscat Panorama. In addition to these openings, the group has also signed agreements for Park Inn by Radisson Resort Bimmah and Radisson Serviced Apartments Salalah.

In Jordan, the 178-key Radisson Blu Hotel, Amman Galleria Mall will open its doors this year. In Iraq, the group will open the Radisson Hotel and Residences next month.

In June this year, group also signed a new Radisson Collection property for Egypt.The Radisson Collection Resort, Marsa Alam Port Phoenice in Egypt brings the group’s footprint in the country to eight hotels in operation and under development. Scheduled to open in early 2025, the new-build resort will comprise of 294 rooms, including 20 suites.
