Radisson Hotel Group has opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center in Saudi Arabia.
It is its eighth hotel in the kingdom’s capital, and is located within walking distance of the city center and the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center features 223 rooms. Guests staying in the Executive rooms and suites have complimentary access to the hotel’s Business Lounge, which offers refreshments and light snacks throughout the day.

In terms of its culinary offerings, the new property has two F&B venues. The Al Diriyah Restaurant and Lounge serves an international menu and also a variety of coffees from Camel Step, a local roastery. The Terrace restaurant meanwhile is located on the second floor and serves gourmet and BBQ foods in a tapas-style setting, with the venue also screening sports games on its big screen.
As for its meeting facilities, the hotel has nine meeting and events spaces. These include the 400 sqm Najd Event Hall, which can be divided into three separate sections and six smaller meeting rooms. In addition, The Garden is another venue that can be booked for events.

Elsewhere in Riyadh, Radisson has already announced the Radisson Red with Diriyah Gate which will open in three years and will launch that brand in the kingdom.
In the EMEA and APAC markets, Radisson Hotel Group has a total of over 1,100 hotels in operation and under development. In Saudi Arabia, Radisson has 26 operational hotels including the Mansard Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel and Nofa Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Resort which are part of the group’s luxury lifestyle collection, as well as Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport which opened last year.
