Radisson Hotel Group has signed an agreement with Australia-based La Vie Hotels & Resorts, to add more than 30 properties over the next decade.

The Master Collaboration Agreement will see La Vie develop, manage and operate hotels under the Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson brands.

Specific locations have yet to be confirmed, but Radisson said that the collaboration “will drive the expansion of the Group’s portfolio in its key strategic growth markets including Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Fiji and Vanuatu”.

The agreement builds on an existing partnership between the two firms, which has so far seen three Sri Lankan hotels reflagged under the Radisson Blu and Radisson brands, including the Radisson Hotel Colombo (pictured above).

Radisson Hotel Group currently has just two properties open in Australia (Radisson Hotel on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne and Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Sydney), and none in New Zealand, although a number of hotels are currently under development in Queenstown and Lake Tekapo.
