The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel and Residences, in collaboration with Culinary Culture has curated an experiential dining pop-up with Thai Chef Thitid Tassanakajohn, popularly known as Chef Ton – from the Michelin star restaurant Le Du in Bangkok.
The pop-up dinners are scheduled to take place on January 27 and 28, 2023 where Chef Ton will be showcasing an exclusive gastronomic repertoire of his modern Thai signature dishes with an 8-course menu paired with exciting cocktails, at Zanotta.
Known as the most famous Thai Chef in the world, Chef Ton runs restaurants such as Le Du (1 Michelin Star and #4 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022), as well as Nusara (#10 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022) making him the only Thai chef that has two restaurants on the prestige of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Chef Ton is also the celebrity chef judge on Top Chef Thailand, one of the most popular cooking shows in the region.
He puts a creative spin on Thai dishes which highlight local seasonal ingredients that are blended with flavour and zest. Moreover, Chef Ton is an advocate of all things local and sustainable that echoes with the same values, culture, and commitment of The Leela.
