Accor has opened a flagship hotel under its budget Ibis Styles brand in Thailand’s capital.
The 264 room Ibis Styles Bangkok Silom is located in the city’s business and entertainment district, close to the Silom MRT subway station, and Sala Daeng station on the BTS Skytrain network.
Features include a rooftop swimming pool and bar, a fitness centre, all day dining restaurant Prung Rod serving dishes including Thai-style noodles and soups, Popup bar, and a 300-capacity ballroom which can be divided into three meeting spaces.
The hotel has collaborated with Thai artist Tikkywow for a mural at the property’s entrance, inspired by Silom’s history.

To celebrate the opening Accor is offering 20 per cent off best available rates, for bookings made by August 31 and stays completed by October 31, 2022.
Commenting on the news Garth Simmons, chief executive Officer of Accor, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, said:
“Ibis Styles Bangkok Silom is one of Thailand’s most anticipated openings for 2022. A dynamic neighbourhood like Silom is the perfect fit for the trendy and inspiring Ibis Styles brand. Its creative and playful designs will bring a sense of joy to the Silom community.
“This is our 12th Ibis Styles hotel in Thailand. We are excited to expand our network in the country as the travel industry regains momentum and we welcome the world back to Asia.”
Earlier this year Accor opened a flagship Bangkok property under its Novotel brand, located within the city’s within Future Park Rangsit complex.
