Emirates is to rostering its A380 superjumbo onto flights between Dubai and Perth later this year.
The Gulf carrier currently offers a daily service on the route, operated by its B777-300ER, but will swap to the larger A380 from December 1, 2022.
Emirates resumed A380 flights to Brisbane in March this year, and currently offers twice-daily superjumbo services to both Sydney and Melbourne.
The announcement coincides with Emirates celebrating the 20th anniversary of flights to Perth this week, having launched a four-times-weekly service in August 2002.
