Marriott plans to add a Luxury Collection hotel in the Greek island of Paros this summer.

Cosme, a Luxury Collection resort will open on June 15 in the village of Naoussa, Cosme, featuring 40 suites, a wellness area, beachfront restaurant and private beach club.

The hotel’s design by ID Laboratorium is inspired by the island and features bold Cycladic lines, local stone and adornments by contemporary Greek artists as well as original gravures of Paros’ folk life and naval tradition. There will also be works from a range of native multimedia artists such as Margarita Myrogianni, Naked Summers, and Terpsichori on display throughout the hotel.

The resort will also have a village-like feel thanks to meandering pathways, while a half-moon pool has been designed to mirror the bay of Naoussa.

Elios, Cosme’s spa and wellness hub, will include a star-gazing area at the highest point of the hotel, where yoga and meditation rituals will take place. There will also be a restaurant by Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou, offering ‘Medite-grecian’ cuisine.

The hotel is part of Kanava Hotels and Resorts, a brand created in 1989 which includes eight properties across Santorini and Paros.

There are currently 120 hotels and resorts in more than 35 countries and territories within Marriott’s Luxury Collection.
