Hilton has announced plans to open a beachfront resort in the port city of Odessa in Ukraine.

Hilton Odessa is set to open in spring 2025 at Vannyi Lane, with a seafront building on Primorskyi Lane. It is located within walking distance of the resort area of Arcadia, which includes a beach and entertainment complex, additional beaches along the Black Sea coast, and the city centre is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

The 145-room property will be spread across two buildings, with interior design inspired by Odessa’s coastline. The hotel will include an indoor swimming pool as well as a rooftop pool with views overlooking the coast, a 600 sqm wellness centre, and direct access to the beaches.

Plus, there will be four restaurants and bars, two of which will be situated on the beachfront, 800 sqm of conference space including a ballroom, and an executive floor with a lounge on the rooftop.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton, said:

“There is clear opportunity for growth in Ukraine, with two hotels set to join our portfolio alongside Hilton Kyiv. Growing international interest in Odessa and robust domestic demand make Hilton Odessa an important addition to our European pipeline. We are pleased to be working with Gefest Group to introduce our flagship brand to southern Ukraine.”

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with Gefest Group and the hotel will be managed by Cyprus-based Millennium Hospitality.
