Hilton has opened its first hotel in Georgia’s capital with a property under its Hilton Garden Inn brand.

Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze is located in the city’s Vake neighbourhood, a business and commercial district, and is close to the Vake Park and Turtle Lake.

The hotel features 170 rooms with the brand’s signature bedding, complimentary wifi, a desk with an ergonomic chair, a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There is also a 24-hour business centre with printing facilities and over 32 sqm of meeting space which can accommodate up to 150 people.

Further facilities include a fitness centre, and onsite dining options such as Andazi restaurant and a 24-hour grab-and-go retail space.

Alan Roberts, Global Head of Hilton Garden Inn, said:

“We are excited to bring Hilton Garden Inn to Georgia with the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze. Tbilisi is a centre of commerce and a cultural hub, making it an ideal location for an affordable international brand like Hilton Garden Inn, with its modern amenities and warm, welcoming service.

“Across Europe. Middle East & Africa, we’re seeing growing demand for Hilton Garden Inn, with plans to add 70 new hotels across the region in the next three-to-five years — and this hotel is an exceptional new addition to the portfolio.”

This is Hilton’s second hotel in Georgia, joining the current Hilton Batumi, but its first Hilton Garden Inn in the country.

Hilton Garden Inn currently boasts 930 hotels in 52 countries and territories.
