Flybig is set to commence first-ever services between Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh, and Guwahati, Assam route from August 16, 2021, under the Government of India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN.

Tezu is known for its natural beauty and boasts picturesque valleys, lakes, and wildlife. The new flight service is expected to boost tourism in the region.

The frequency will be four flights per week on the Tezu – Guwahati route. The launch fares start from ₹ 1,199.

In addition, the airline is reintroducing the Delhi – Shillong connectivity as per the arrangement with Meghalaya Transport Corporation from August 16, 2021. Passengers can now make the booking for this service.

Flybig is also commemorating India’s 75th Independence Day, by offering a special fare of  ₹75 to army officers, their immediate family members, and senior citizens, honouring their exemplary service to the nation. The offer is valid on Tezu – Guwahati and Guwahati – Pasighat flights for travel this August. Passengers can make their bookings either on the airline’s website or through online travel agencies and regional travel partners.
