India’s low-cost carrier Spicejet will roll out a Covid vaccination programme for employees.
The airline will start an inoculation drive for all its employees from May 17, 2021.
This will be a company-sponsored vaccination drive. It will begin from Delhi and Gurugram and will cover Spicejet employees across all the stations on the airline’s network. The airline will also facilitate vaccination for the families of employees going forward.
The first ones to get vaccinated will be the frontline employees of the airline including airport staff and inflight crew.
The vaccination programme will be undertaken as per government rules and guidelines and the basis of the availability of the vaccine.
