Spicejet has re-introduced its ‘Zero Change fee’ offer on its domestic network, allowing passengers to change their flight bookings at least five days prior to the date of departure instead of seven days.

The new offer will enable passengers to modify tickets with a one-time waiver of the charges. It is applicable for bookings made between April 17, 2021, and May 10, 2021, and the travel period between April 17, 2021, and May 15, 2021.

Fare difference will be applicable for flight changes and shall be payable by the customer.

In addition, the airline has also introduced add-on services such as You1st and preferred seats at a fee of just ₹249. One can also avail of an upgrade to Spicemax (with benefits like extra legroom seats, and priority services) at a price of ₹799.

The offer is valid on bookings made via all channels including the airline’s website, mobile app, reservations, airport ticketing counter, and online travel agents.

Highlighting the initiatives taken so far, the airline stated, “Spicejet has been innovating constantly to enhance customer experience while offering a safe and comfortable journey. Spicejet was the first airline to introduce Zero Change Fee in March 2021. The airline had earlier introduced a Covid insurance cover including tests, medication, and consultations upon testing positive for Covid-19.  The airline also introduced Spicejet Extra seat which allows passengers the option to book two or more seats to make their travel more comfortable and hassle-free.”

In case the flight is changed by the customer for the second time, an applicable change fee as per standard terms shall be charged. The Zero Change fee offer cannot be clubbed with any other scheme, offer, discount, or promotion.
