Hyatt opens Andaz Xiamen in south China

9 Sep 2020 by Business Traveller India

A new lifestyle hotel by Hyatt ‘Andaz Xiamen’ is now open, offering corporate travellers a modern accommodation option in a prime south China location.

This Andaz property offers 304 guestrooms, including 20 well-equipped suites with separate living rooms. The décor is inspired by the city’s sobriquet as a Garden by the Sea, and is being positioned as a modern mansion inspired by tropical Nanyang style.

The hotel features high-ceilings, repeated arched detailing, and living spaces linked by walkways open to tropical breezes.

There is Andaz Lounge, where in-house guests can enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks any time. In the evening, the lounge also serves wine, beer and locally inspired canapés.

Other F&B outlets include No. 101 Chinese Restaurant, More Than Wine and Sugar Pavilion.

Social spaces form an integral part with approximately 2,000 sqm of Nanyang-inspired event venue, including seven standalone spaces.

“Our aim is to offer a luxury lifestyle experience that is woven into the fabric of the local culture, fueling our guests’ creativity and inspiring them to express their own unique style and passions. As luxury travellers remerge within the region, our underlying mission to take care for our guests remains true,” said Owen Chiu, general manager of the hotel.
