Hyatt has opened its first Hyatt-branded hotel in Bulgaria: The Hyatt Regency Sofia.
The 183-room hotel is in the heart of the capital on Vasil Levski Square, close to the National Assembly, which houses the country’s parliament, the National Academy of Arts, Sofia University and the gold-domed St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
The hotel has 183 rooms including 22 suites, some of which have terraces, and all of which have floor-to-ceiling windows, work desks and bathrooms with walk-in rain showers. Guests staying in suites and Regency Club rooms can enjoy additional amenities in the Regency Club such as complimentary breakfast, evening drinks, and hors d’oeuvres.
The hotel has a deli café – Mama Sofia – open all day and The Revolutionary Dining Room and Bar for modern Italian cuisine. The hotel also has a rooftop bar and terrace, The Scene, with views of Alexander Nevsky and Vitosha Mountain. For meetings there are ten rooms with The Loft providing event planners with three rooftop spaces while The Living Room and The Den have a private bar and a suspended fireplace. The Conservatory has its own rose garden terrace and botanical atmosphere. The hotel’s 533m2 Vasil Levski Ballroom is one of the largest halls in Sofia.
The hotel has a 480m2 wellness centre with a 24 hour fitness centre and three treatment rooms, a hammam, a steam room, a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a salt therapy, an ice fountain, showers and an indoor hydrotherapy pool. The wellness centre also features a beauty salon.
