Spain’s NH Hotel Group is set to open its first NH Collection property in the US.
The 288-room hotel is set to open in April.
Formerly the NH New York Jolly Madison Towers, the property is undergoing a complete refurbishment to reopen under the luxury brand as the NH Collection New York Madison Avenue.
The lobby will have fireplaces, comfy sofas and work spaces.
A top-floor Presidential Suite will have a terrace with views of the Empire State Building.
The hotel will also have meeting rooms, a cocktail bar and a Tea Room serving afternoon tea with a variety of blends.
Rooms, split between doubles, suites and family rooms, will have free wifi, tea/coffee-making facilities and hair dryers.
Hugo Rovira, managing director for NH Hotel Group in Southern Europe and the US, said:
“We are very pleased to be marking this new milestone opening in New York, raising our value proposition in the city with the introduction of our upper-upscale brand, NH Collection.”
