Madrid-based NH Hotel Group has opened properties under its luxury NH Collection brand in Munich and Antwerp.
The NH Collection München Bavaria, pictured above, was previously the NH Deutscher Kaiser and has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city of Munich and the Alps.
Located near Munich central station, the hotel has 219 rooms and 400 sqm of event space, as well as a 400 sqm outdoor terrace and 16th floor meeting room with panoramic views.
The building has been revamped by Spanish designers TBC Interiorismo.
It marks the eight NH Collection opening in Germany.

NH Collection Antwerp Centre is the brand’s first opening in the city, and the third in Belgium.
The 186-room hotel has a garden courtyard, six meeting and event rooms and a private car park. A tapas bar and restaurant will offer seasonal produce as well as a wide selection of wines.
The NH Collection portfolio includes hotels across South and North America as well as Europe.
NH Hotel Group is majority-owned by Thailand’s Minor Hotels, whose brands include Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, Oaks and Elewana, as well as NH Hotels’ Nhow and Hesperia.
A Nhow Hotel London was scheduled to open over the summer, but the launch has been pushed back to 2020.
