Airports Authority of India introduces Skyfit App

22 Jan 2019 by Business Traveller India

Airports Authority of India (AAI) has launched Skyfit, a mobile app developed for professionals in the aviation industry.

Launched at the Global Aviation Summit 2019, the application, available on Google play store and iOS, is devised to help aviation personnel — pilots, air traffic controllers, and cabin crew cope up with challenges of occupational stress.

The exponential growth of the aviation industry has affected human resource extensively. Therefore, AAI has formulated breathing techniques in consultation with experts to counter the effects of stress. These exercises are shared through the Skyfit programme.

Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation, applauded the initiative of Skyfit by AAI and stated that when India is poised to cater to the next 6 billion people and become a global leader, it also has to be equipped to address the health issues of the human force and their quality of life.
