Following nearly 18 months of renovations, Dorchester Collection’s Hotel Eden in Rome reopened its doors on April 1.
New photos of the hotel’s public spaces have been released, alongside imagery of some of the 98 redesigned rooms and suites.
Rooms are furnished with Bang and Olufsen TVs and Bluetooth sound systems, along with marble bathrooms stocked with Bottega Veneta products. Entry-level Classic rooms measure 30 sqm, while suites are 60 sqm upwards.
The hotel now includes a spa with four treatment rooms, a blow-dry bar and mani-pedi salon. Its three existing meeting venues have also been updated.
The interior design of the lobby and bedrooms was overseen by Bruno Moinard of 4BI and Associates, who also worked on the Hotel Plaza Athénée and the Grill at the Dorchester in 2014. The two restaurants (Il Giardino and rooftop La Terrazza) and Libreria Lounge bar, are headed up by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku.
The Hotel Eden originally opened in 1889 and joined Dorchester Collection in 2013. Other properties in the portfolio include the Beverly Hills in LA, Le Meurice in Paris and 45 Park Lane in London.
