Lufthansa Group subsidiary Eurowings has announced two new routes from Cologne / Bonn airport to Orlando and Seattle next year.

The flights will add to the carrier’s existing US services to Las Vegas, Miami and Boston (summer seasonal).

Twice-weekly flights to Orlando will depart on Wednesday and Saturday from July 8, 2017, while three times-weekly flights to Seattle will depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from July 11.

Eurowings says that while all of its long-haul services depart from Cologne / Bonn, “the airline offers attractive connecting flights from many other airports in Germany and Europe”.

The carrier said that over 420,000 passengers had travelled “to a different continent with Eurowings” since its launch of long-haul flights in November last year.

The airline also flies to Havana and Varadero in Cuba, and Puerta Plata and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and will operate services to Mauritius and Bangkok in dummer 2017.
