Budget design hotel group Motel One has opened a third hotel in Stuttgart.
The 141-room Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt hotel is located in the district of Bad Cannstatt, within walking distance of Wilhelmsplatz underground station.
The hotel’s design takes inspiration from the region’s mineral springs, thermal baths and wells with features such as droplet-shaped lights, a copper water fountain and hanging bubble chairs by Adelta in the group’s signature lobby lounge.
Nearby attractions include the Canstatter Wasen, home to Stuttgart’s three-week beer festival, the Mercedez Benz museum, the Porsche arena and the zoological-botanical gardens of Wilhelma. Rooms start at £55 per night.
Motel One recently announced plans to open 10 properties throughout Europe by 2018.
