Dubai-based airport services provider Marhaba has announced the opening of a new 24-hour airport lounge in Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 3.

The new lounge, which provides seating for more than 130 passengers, has been in operation since May 23. It replaces the former Dnata lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Business Traveller Asia-Pacific reviewed this lounge in 2017.

Lounge guests can enjoy free wifi services, charging points, an international buffet and shower facilities.

There are also 40 lounge employees working in shifts to take care of guests’ needs, with up to six staff members on duty in one shift. They can speak a total of six languages including English, Mandarin, Tamil, Malay, Filipino and Japanese. According to a spokesperson from Marhaba, one employee can speak two languages on average.

Passengers who want to access the new Marhaba lounge can make online bookings on Marhaba’s official website from S$55 (US$40). Alternatively, they can also gain access via one of the lounge loyalty card programmes, such as Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Lounge Club, Diners Club International, No.1 Traveller, FLIO, The National University of Singapore Society, TAV Airports, JCB, Lounge Pass and DragonPass.

It offers airport meet and greet services in Dubai and now operates 12 departure airport lounges in Dubai International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport, Geneva Airport, Melbourne Airport, Zurich Airport and Singapore Changi Airport.

In addition to the newly opened lounge at Terminal 3, Dnata also operates a lounge at Terminal 1 in Changi Airport.

Changi Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world for international traffic, with a passenger capacity of over 65 million in 2018. The airport has recently opened Jewel, a mixed-use development housing an indoor garden and a shopping mall, where passengers can find Changi Lounge, a pay-per-use lounge with a standard admission fee of S$38 (US$28) for adults.
